Event

Matsucon is an admission-only event held in Oulu focusing on Japanese popular culture. The main focus at Matsucon is manga, anime and cosplay. Note. In the event there is stairs to climb! The program focuses on an interactive program that engages visitors, without forgetting the speaking program. The program includes lectures, workshops, karaoke, dance and competitions. The event is suitable for enthusiasts of all ages. Children under 5 years old can enter for free when accompanied by a guardian.

Visitors to Matsucon will definitely not be bored! We offer visitors a weekend full of activities and the opportunity to find new friends from the same hobby circles. You can feel like you are part of a community and express your opinion in the myths, learn new things in interesting lectures, have fun with karaoke, games and competitions, shop in our extensive sales area, wander around the art alley and enjoy cosplay programs.
