Pohjoisten conien kyhääjät ry, more familiarly Pocky ry, is association from Oulu founded in 2015. It's main task is to organize Matsuconm which focuses on Japanese popular culture.
Matsucon has been organized six times in previous years at Pohjankartanon koulu. First Matsucon was organized 4.-5.3.2017, second 26.-27.5.2018, third 3.-4.8.2019, fourth 10.-11.12.2022, fifth 28.-29.10.2023, sixth 10.-11.8.2024 and incoming seventh 9.-10.8.2025
Matsucon will be organized by volunteer force and approximately 25 responsible people, and volunteering workers and program hosts. Members of the association are the active participants in organizing the event.
As a member of Pocky ry, you can influence the organizing of Matsucon and the activities of the association, even if you do not act in a responsible role. The membership does not cost anything.
