Matsucon is an anime convention held at Pohjankartanon koulu during 28th – 29th October 2023. Matsucon focuses on manga, anime and cosplay.
We recommend buying the e-ticket in advance (Kompassi.eu, Finnish banks only), because they can sell out quickly at the door. Children under the age of five can enter for free when accompanied by their guardian.

In general we recommend bringing both cash and card for shopping.
R-18 evening party
The R-18 evening party of Matsucon will be held on Saturday, October 28th, from 8 PM to 11 PM in the basement of 45 Special as a private event, after which we can move upstairs to join the rest of the crowd and enjoy the festivities. DJs Tribos, Wizard and Pinki will entertain us!
First Aid
During the event, there will be 1-2 first-aid trained individuals available at all times. They can provide first aid for minor injuries and accidents. The first aid team is bound by confidentiality. Please note that no medications will be provided in first aid. So, remember to bring your own pain relievers, allergy medications, and any other necessary medications with you.
Also, remember to eat and drink during the day so you have the energy to enjoy the program and socializing. There are water points at the convention, but you can also bring your own water bottle and snacks. Nearby food stores are marked on the program brochure map.

Harassment
Matsucon does not tolerate any form of harassment, intimidation, bullying, or other inappropriate behavior towards attendees or staff. You are welcome to admire costumes, but taking pictures or touching should only be done with the individual’s permission. Security personnel can remove individuals behaving inappropriately from the event.
If you experience harassment, please don’t hesitate to contact a security officer, information desk, or the first aid station. Contacting and talking to the harassment liaison is confidential, and if you wish, you can request that the matter not be taken further. The harassment liaison is present at the event. All programme is included in the ticket price, except the matcha brownie workshop which is 3 euros.
